Leon Archer is sworn in as probate judge Friday with wife Marjorie Archer by his side.

About 200 people attended Archer’s swearing in, at which he recognized veterans, elected officials and family members.

Archer drew from the wit and wisdom of Walt Disney to tell the crowd some of his aims as probate, after which cake and punch were served.
