Donate blood, save a life

LifeSouth is in need of blood donations, particularly types AB+, AB-, O-, A- and B-. “We want to make sure to keep all the hospitals stocked up,” said Beverly Brown with LifeSouth. Blood drives will be held at Walmart on Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Jan. 6 from 11 a.m to to 4 p.m. LifeSouth is the only blood supplier for Russell Medical Center.
