Mrs. Barbara Gail Davis, 66, of Alexander City, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Russell Medical Center.  She was born on December 9, 1946 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Other Davis and Pauline Dean Davis.  She worked at Russell Corp. for 20 years as a sewing machine operator.  Mrs. Davis enjoyed playing cards with her sister, the outdoors, going out and dancing, and being with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Tate Price of Alexander City; grandsons, Brandon Tate and Kash Tate both of Alexander City; sister, Betty Fennell of Alexander City; brother, Billy Davis (Sandra) of Alexander City.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Wayne Smith; her parents; sister, Judy Florine; and brother, Bobby Davis.

There will be no public visitation or services held.
