Top Flight gymnastics places in Montgomery
Published 10:37am Thursday, December 6, 2012Alexander City’s Top Flight gymnastics team had a strong showing at the compulsory state meet last weekend in Montgomery.
Top Flight took home three first place All-Arounds, two second place All-Arounds, and four third place All-Arounds.
Top Flight finished second place overall in Level 1, first place in Lavel 2 and seventh place in Level 4.
In Level 1, Anna Claire Stark finished first place All-Around, while Makenley Waters and Laura Kay Bass finished second and third place respectively.
In Level 2, Campbell Thomas and Adlyne Benton both took first and second place All-Around. Karlee Fuller and Chloe Ray tied for third place All-Around and Sarah Chappell took fourth place.
Kylee Stark and Maddy Waters took fourth and fifth place respectively in the Level 3 Division, while Sarah Rogers, Addie Fuller and Jessie Culver all finished in first second, and third place respectively in the Level 4 Division.
Jasmine McQueen had her best personal Score of 32.575 in Level 3 competition.
Top Flight gymnastics is coached by AlexVardaman, Miranda Kelley and Kelsey Oliver.
Top Flight Gymnastics and Cheer will be located at 705 Cherokee next to Fred’s, while their temporary location is at 325 Franklin Street across from Faith Temple church in Alexander City.
