The Dadeville High School girls hopped out to an early lead last night in area play against Beulah High School and wound up coasting to a final victory of 65-28.
Dadeville opened up in a full-court press that caused numerous Beulah turnovers, letting the Lady Tigers take a 36-19 lead to the half.
Dadeville then out-scored Beulah 20-4 in the third quarter to widen the gap to 56-23 heading into the fourth.
The Lady Tigers then held on with bench play in the final period for the final score.
Destiny Green led Dadeville with 14 points, while Meshae Thomas had 13 and Janie Moran scored 10.
“It’s a good win for us to start off with in area play,” DHS head coach Mitch Joiner said.
“I wanted to start building some depth and we were able to do that, and we’ll keep getting better as a team and prepare for BRHS.”
