Scott Johnson and Aidan Royal (above) and a few other fifth and sixth graders make up a team that will be competing in a regional Lego League qualifier for the state competition. The qualifier will be Dec. 8 at Central Alabama Community College. The students have been working to build and program Lego robots to complete a number of tasks, each of which will have a point value attached to it.
