Dear editor,

Gov. Robert Bentley never ever intended to take care of the people in Alabama. He is not a leader – someone has to tell him what to do in his state. He gets with people in the other red states and seeks advice from them on what is good for Alabama.

My problem is, why didn’t he ask the people of Alabama what they wanted? Why didn’t he put a statewide proposal amendment on the ballot for the people to decide on it? That is so important, but he knew he would lose that fight. Like gambling – a no-win for the Republican party. Well the people have spoken, and they are tired of lies and people flip-flopping.

From this day forward, we the people will have healthcare reform for everyone – not for some, everyone. The people will have gambling in this state. We the people will no longer be prisoners of this state; instead, we will be a body of change that will serve everyone regardless of race or gender.

The people of Alabama are sick and tired of people speaking for other states. We are a body of people that speak for Alabama, and represent all the people in this state. All people in this state are not evil. We walk by faith, not by sight.
