Two runners to rep BRHS at state meetPublished 9:35am Wednesday, November 7, 2012
Benjamin Russell High School had two runners participate in the sectionals at Hewitt-Trussville this past Thursday, with both qualifying for state this coming weekend.
Ninth grader Dillon Dean and sophomore Dee Tuggle both qualified for state from the varsity squad.
Dean, who has already turned some heads this season, won the Class 5A event at Hewitt-Trussville.
BRHS has revamped their cross country program after not having a team last year and continues to encourage anyone interested to participate.
The AHSAA state cross country meet is this weekend at the Moulton-Oakville Indian Mounds Park in Oakville, AL.
