Alex City places second at BamaRama

Alexander City gymnastics competed in the 2012 Bama Rama gymnastics meet this past weekend in Tuscaloosa, finishing second overall as a team in the Level 1 Division.
Alex City got a strong performance from Olivia Booker in the JRA class, as she finished with an overall score of 33.5 including a 9.1 score on the vault.
In the JRB class, Alex City gymnastics placed three competitors in the top-5.
Raylee Moore won the class with an overall score of 36.5, including a strong performance of 9.5 on her floor routine.
Kaylie Businelle finished fourth overall with a score of 35.0 and Palmer Peppers finished fifth overall with a score of 34.9 in the JRB class.
As a team, Alex City Gymnastics finished with a score of 106.7 for the second place finish, which was three points less than Elite Gymnastics II with a score of 109.75 to win Level 1 of the Bama Rama.1
