Rebels squeak by for another region win

After starting the game with back to back three and outs Reeltown had a great drive going 52 yards in nine plays eating up 4 minutes off the clock.
After forcing Lanett to go three and out on their 3rd straight drive Reeltown took over at midfield.
8 plays later Reeltown made the score 14-0 on a 10 yard pass from Spivey to Frazier.
The drive took 4:29 and went 50 yards.
The Panthers took over on their own 44.
The Panthers went 56 yards converting on 3rd and seven for 53 yards the Panther scored on 3rd and goal from the 1 bringing the score to 21-6 after the fumbled snap on the extra point.
It looked like the Rebels were going to give Lanett great field position going three and out but the punt was muffed and the Rebels recovered at the 21. The Rebels scored their final TD 4 plays later with Stewart scoring his 2nd TD of the game on a 5yard run making the score 21-6.
The Panthers get ball with 1 minute left in the half.
They scored on just one play to make the half time score 21-12.
The second half proved to be a great defensive battle having only one score in the 4th quarter.
The Panthers scored with less than 5 minutes left in the game.
The Rebels intercepted the Panther QB on the final play of the game.
Reeltown will be at home again this coming week when they play Randolph County in another Region contest.
