Trojan golf opens season in dominance

Central Alabama Community College golf won their first golf tournament of the season earlier this week at the Wallace State Invitational at Cullman Golf Club in Cullman, Ala. by more than 10 strokes.
The Trojans blew away the field with score of 14-under par, while second place Brevard Community College had an overall score of even par.
The host team Wallace State finished third place at 2-over par.
CACC sophomore Baxter Reeves led the Trojans in the victory, with a 9-under par performance to lead the field and finish first overall.
Central Alabama’s Alex Mahlik, Tim Walker, and J.M. O’Toole all went on to finish in the top-10 for the Trojans.
Andrew Klasing was the lowest placing Trojan at 4-over par, good enough to finish better than half of the field for the tournament.
