Expo seeks vendors for pre-holiday event

Alexander City residents are going to get a chance to do their holiday shopping a few months early.

A pre-holiday expo will be held 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19 at the Sportplex Cabin.

“I hope it gives people an opportunity to shop around the city and not have to go out of town to do it,” said Expo Coordinator Jennifer Miller.

The event will feature giveaways and light refreshments. Vendors have already begun registering for the event. Jewelry, candles, Thirty-One bags and crafts will be sold.

Tables are $25 per vendor and one table is allowed per sales organization. Home-based businesses are welcome.

“We’d like to have as many people as we can,” Miller said. “Everyone is invited to participate and attend.”
