Funeral service for Mrs. Jacqueline Rae McDonald, 72, of Equality, will be Friday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Harmony Cemetery in Equality, Ala. with Rev. Paul Perrett officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the graveside.
Ms. McDonald passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at Russell Medical Center from complications of pancreatic cancer. She was born on March 25, 1940 in Goffstown, New Hampshire and lived in New England, Illinois and Texas before settling in Alabama after retiring.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jackie enjoyed sewing crafts, especially doll making and quilting and was known for baking casseroles to share with her friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Dolly Arnold of New Hampshire. She is survived by her daughters, Candace Jones (Randall) of Equality and Cheryl Partridge (Phillip) of Sylacauga; son, Mark Stevens of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Ashley Hood (Karl) of Wichita Falls, TX, Michaela Tipple (Joe) of Sylacauga, Joey Jones (Stephanie) of Equality, and Phillip Partridge of Sylacauga; four great-grandchildren; six sisters; four brothers; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
