CACC softball loses in ACCC tournament

After winning the first game of the ACCC tournament Friday afternoon, the Central Alabama Community College Lady Trojans then lost two straight games to fall out of the tournament.
The losses also ends their season at 30-15.
Central Alabama lost 7-1 to Wallace-Hanceville to fall into the loser bracket, before being topped by Southern Union 11-6 in the next game.
Alyssa Kornegay threw five innings in the loss to Southern Union, while surrendering 10 hits.
Blair Byrom threw the final 1.2 innings for the Lady Trojans.
Callie Loper led all offensive firepower from the plate with three hits and two RBIs.
Leslie Kelley, Kimberlyn Gillock and Robyn Wallace all added two his a piece for Central Alabama, who won the ACCC tournament last season and played in the national tournament in Utah.
