Dadeville dominates Holtville

Despite a slow start, the Dadeville Tigers pushed on to grab a solid 70 – 34 victory over the Holtville Bulldogs.
The Tigers were up 13 – 5 after the end of the first, with Eddie Webb grabbing five.
Webb would go on to score 27 points for the night.
“The first half was not bad but not our best,” said head coach Rodney Taylor.
“I think the second half, we really came out in the third quarter and put it away.”
By half, the Tigers had a 34 – 16 lead.
Webb stayed hot in the third, grabbing 13 points. Zeke Heard helped add to the lead with four points.
Heard grabbed 10 points for the night, with Jessie Foster Jr. dropping nine.
“Anytime you win 70 – 34, its a good game,” Taylor said.
“Plus, everyone got some playing time. Now its time to tune up for Monday night.
The Dadeville boys will play for the area championship on Monday night against Beauregard High School.
The game will be at Dadeville High School gym beginning at 7:30 p.m.
