Funeral services for Ms. Lea Ann Stewart, 44, of Millerville, will be held Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 2:00 p. m. at Millerville Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Arnall, Rev. Wayne Cowhick, and Rev. Mike Waldrop officiating.    Burial will follow in Millerville Community Cemetery.

Ms. Stewart was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County.  She had been employed as a newsroom secretary at The Alexander City Outlook for the past 13 years.  She attended Millerville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristi Stewart of Millerville; her mother, La Jean Martin of Millerville; sister, La Resa Griffin (Ryan) of Alexander City; brother, Dwayne Martin (Delilah) of Millerville; aunt, Joyce Patterson of Ashland; and three nieces, La Cresha Griffin, Amanda Hammonds and Brandy Martin.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Elwyn Martin.

Serving as pallbearers for Ms. Stewart will be Terry Martin, Jerry Martin, Glenn Martin, Dee Jackson, Charles Dick, and Robert Dick.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of The Alexander City Outlook.

Clay County Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
