Reeltown’s Ledbetter competing on national stage
Published 10:43am Wednesday, July 13, 2011Reeltown resident Peyton Ledbetter is a member of the Troy Full Throttle 10-year old youth softball team that is competing in the USFA Softball World Series this week in Panama City, Fla.
The team has never placed worse than fourth place in any of their tournaments throughout the season, including stops in Georgia, Mississippi and Florida.
The USFA World Series includes 89 teams from throughout the United States.
As of yesterday afternoon, Full Throttle had won the first three games of the tournament and were awaiting other winners in order to continue play in the winners bracket.
The United States Fastpitch Association (USFA) World Series features teams from across the country and last throughout the week ending on Saturday, July 16 at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach, Fla.
