Register for the Outlook pageant

Christmas is the focus for almost everyone this week, and that’s as it should be. But there’s another big annual event right around the corner – the Outlook Calendar Girl Pageant.

And over the years, many parents have chosen to give the pageant entry fee or outfits to their daughters as Christmas gifts. Participation in the Outlook Calendar Girl Pageant is a gift that will be remembered for years to come, an exciting experience that boosts confidence, promotes poise and stage presence and is lots of fun.

This pageant is open to students in Tallapoosa, Coosa, Clay and Elmore counties from age 4 through 12th grade, and we’ve had more girls enter the 2011 pageant than in the past two pageants. But we have one division with only a handful of entries – the Miss Outlook division, open to 10th, 11th and 12th graders.

The winner of the Miss Outlook division will take home a full Ambassador’s Scholarship to Central Alabama Community College that pays for two years of higher education. And the winners of all four divisions, Petite Miss, Little Miss, Junior Miss and Miss Outlook, will receive a $150 cash award the night of the pageant.

Every girl who enters the pageant will win a title. And photos of each girl will be featured in the 2011 Outlook Calendar Girl calendar distributed in The Outlook during January.

So come by The Outlook at 548 Cherokee Road and register for the pageant today.
