Dear Editor,

Almost 10 days ago my family had an intruder at our home. The response to our 911 call was immediate.

The response of the law enforcement agencies involved including the Alexander City Police Department, the Tallapoosa County Drug Task Force, and the Canine Division was impressive.

I am grateful to the officers involved for their quick and professional actions to protect our lives and property. We thank you.
