Nick Abrams started on the mound for the 13- through 15-year-old Angels and helped them get the 5-2 win over the Marlins.

The Angels scored four runs in the first inning when Abrams, Larry Kemp, Brent Harris and Jeff Payne reached home safely.

Kemp went two for four at the plate and added another run in the fourth inning, while Abrams helped his own cause by going three for four with two singles and a double.

Both of the Marlins’ runs came in the sixth inning, and they had the chance to score more with two runners on with one out.

However, they were unable to get anymore runs in, and the Angels held on for the win.

In 5- and 6-year-old T-ball, the Cubs and Braves played to a 27-27 tie.

Isaiah Davis, Cole Fuller, Carter Jones and Connor Hall each scored four runs for the Cubs.

Bradley Stewart, Delado WIlson, Dylan Moncus, Jacob Booker,, Jared Green, Ayannah Bullock and Allen Westbrook all scored three runs apiece for the Braves.

The 9- and 10-year-old Royals defeated the Wildcats 5-2.

Ethan Jones picked up the complete-game win on the mound while recording 12 strikeouts in six innings of work for the Royals.

Jones also helped his own cause with three hits in as many at-bats, and he brought in a run late in the game.

Cameron Carleton also went three for three at the plate, while Wesley Sellers contributed two RBIs when he reached base on a Wildcat error early in the game.

Taylor Bryant took the loss on the mound for the Wildcats with eight strikeouts in five innings of work to pitch the entire game.

Bryant also scored after getting on base with a double.

Jacob Smith scored the other run for the Wildcats after getting two hits.

Every league except the 13- through 15-year-old baseball will finish the season Saturday with games postponed from rainouts on April 2.
