Alabama resident and Auburn native Brad Cotter was named the winner of “Nashville Star” on USA Network late Saturday night.
In an interview following the announcement, Cotter said “I just want to thank everyone for voting and we’re going to have a big party on Lake Martin this summer.”
Cotter and his family have strong ties to the Lake Martin area with several family members living in the area. Cotter first endeared himself to fans when he was young by singing gospel songs at revivals and churches around the state. He has been living in Nashville for the last nine years working as a demo singer and songwriter.
